I considered starting a PartyLite biz but decided against it. I thought I would share some of the thinking behind that decision with you.
Being a PartyLite Consultant and owning my own PartyLite Business seems to provide a lot of great benefits but as I evaluate the opportunity the drawbacks were considerable. First, the work was at night. I know they say that you have control over your schedule and that is exactly right. You do. You are in business for yourself and you don't have to do a party at all. You can do the sales just through networking which would not call for night work. But, if you want to make a significant income you are going to have to do parties at night and on weekends. And, to really make a significant income I believe, from talking to those involved in this kind of business, you have to do four to five parties a week.
I do like that as a PartyLite Consultant you don't have to buy inventory and that you don't have to do delivery of the products. I believe PartyLite has developed a good program and they certainly have an excellent product. There is no question about it.
But, as I evaluated the program the PartyLite consultants have a lot of evening and weekend work and the constant selling and reselling customers on the program because the products, as good as they are, they are still expensive. Customer retention is key to long term residual income.
But, I found a program that didn't require selling, no parties, no inventory, no delivers and a very low cost of entry. The program is called MyShoppingGenie. What I do is to give away a FREE software that saves people money on the products they have to buy anyway. For instance I have saved on everything from over the counter medication, razor blades and text books to dvd's, clothes and car parts. As a matter of fact my wife and I have saved $350 this month on things we were going to buy anyway.
The company pays me to give the software away and then when someone uses it to buy something they have to have anyway I get paid for their purchases which builds a longterm residual income for me. And, as people see the value and want to be able to build a business of their own by giving away free software I get paid for that also. There are actually nine ways we get paid.
We have recently had Stephen Pierce join our company as a distributor. Stephen is known as the world's #1 Internet Wealth Advocate. He has been marketing online for ten years and last year made more than $10,000,000 online.
Stephen has put together a marketing program for us that actually puts our marketing on autopilot. It's a comprehensive program designed to help us leverage the internet to generate an ongoing and escalating income for ourselves.
